No Recycling Services as of June 24

Hillsborough County Solid Waste is announcing a temporary service interruption for customers served by Waste Connections due to a significant shortage of truck drivers caused by the COVID-19 coronavirus. In order to continue serving customers with twice-a-week garbage collection, Waste Connections will temporarily suspend the residential recycling collection service beginning today (June 24) and will not service the blue recycling carts until further notice. Waste Connections may also be delayed by a day on regular scheduled residential yard waste collection service.

Street Parking is HCSO Matter

HCSO (Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office) is only agency with authority to enforce street parking in the community. HCSO can enforce parking on streets if: 
1) an owner is parked more than 12” from curb or grass 
2) parked on street against flow of traffic
3) two vehicles are parked parallel to each other preventing emergency vehicles from getting through  
All of these circumstances are citable offenses and homeowners should call HCSO, District 4, to resolve them (not the property management company).  
Residents and their guests are asked to be courteous to neighbors when parking on the street – don’t park where it makes it difficult for neighbors to back out of, or pull in to, their driveway.  This is a common occurrence in our neighborhood and can be easily resolved by parking in your garage/driveway or observing parking/driving circumstances before parking your vehicle on the street.

Hillsborough County and HCSO have resources to help residents deal with issues that are not covered by your HOA and property management team. Some examples include civil nuisances (such as noise or inadequate pet maintenance), criminal matters, trespassing, traffic matters, parking of vehicles on county-owned roads, etc., which must be addressed with the appropriate county agencies. Click here to learn more about these helpful resources.
